Modern Rock Battle of the Bands 2023!

Our three finalists have been chosen!

Shallow Signals, Von Attica, and The Queen’s Giant will compete live in Modern Rock’s Battle of the Bands on Saturday, October 28th at Snead’s Ferry Community Center – home of the Snead’s Ferry Shrimp Festival! Each local band will perform a 10-minute set at Battle of the Bands for a shot at landing a song on Modern Rock 98.7’s New Music Underground Category for at least 2 weeks of airplay, and more!

Not in a band but still want to win?

Modern Rock 98.7 will also host a Halloween Costume Contest during Battle of the Bands, so come dressed to win! We’ll look for our favorite costumes throughout the day and pick a winner for Best Overall, Scariest, Most Topical, and Best Group/Couple!

Plus food trucks, local vendors, and a beer tent! Tickets $5 at the door! See you on the 28th!
