Modern Rock Battle of the Bands 2023!

Modern Rock 98.7 is looking for Coastal Carolina’s best local band!

Submit your band for a chance to compete live in Modern Rock’s Battle of the Bands on Saturday, October 28th at Snead’s Ferry Community Center – home of the Snead’s Ferry Shrimp Festival! Three local bands will be chosen from all qualifiers to perform a 10-minute set at Battle of the Bands for a shot at landing a song on Modern Rock 98.7’s New Music Underground Category for at least 2 weeks of airplay, and more!

Not in a band but still want to win?

Modern Rock 98.7 will also host a Halloween Costume Contest, so come dressed to win! We’ll be looking for our favorite costumes throughout the day and ONE lucky winner will walk away with Modern Rock 98.7 swag and more!

Plus food trucks, local vendors, and a beer tent! Tickets $5 at the door!
